Debra represents banks, businesses and individual clients in commercial litigation, including contract disputes and construction litigation. She also represents clients with collections, insolvency, bankruptcy proceedings and probate matters. She is a panel mediator for the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, a neutral arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and a case evaluator for the Oakland County, Michigan Circuit Court.

Debra Beth Pevos is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., 1980), and graduated Cum Laude from Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University School of Law) in February, 1984. She is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Michigan, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Ms. Pevos is an active member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association-Eastern District of Michigan, Bankruptcy Division. She has lectured to attorneys and paraprofessionals on various commercial law issues, and was a contributing author to Michigan Foreclosure and Repossession (National Business Institute, 1997), and Successful Judgment Collections in Michigan (National Business Institute, 1999). She volunteers her time to lecture about the law and careers in the law. Ms. Pevos is an active member and past Board Member of the University of Michigan Alumnae Association, and is a member and past officer of the University of Michigan Alumnae Club of Oakland County.

Debra has been given the highest rating of “AV” by her peers in connection with a survey done by Martindale – Hubbell Law Directory. AV means very high to preeminent legal ability – very high general recommendation.
